Our Activities

An essential part of our home life is organising stimulating activities for residents to keep minds and bodies active.

Lytham Grange has an “activities organiser” who provides a range of activities in and out of the home. These activities are often linked into an overall therapeutic programme which is person centred. A full and detailed schedule of events is displayed on the Service Users notice board located in the foyer. The programme is devised following discussion with Service Users, their relative and professionals who may be involved. Service Users are actively encouraged to maintain outside links with the community and to continue interests they followed prior to their admission into the care home, wherever possible.

The home provides support that is person centred and which is tailored to meet its residents needs and aspirations, this extends to activities throughout the day and evening. We have therefore employed an activities coordinator who will work closely with residents, their families, professionals involved and the support staff to create individual and group activity that will be of a significant benefit to our residents.

At Lytham Grange, we work in partnership with residents to build upon existing activities that will be provided, in order to meet changing needs and interests of all residents. Our activities we believe will provide a high degree of personal stimulation and maintain resident’s interest in participating in both group activity and one to one support sessions.

We offer a range of educational and leisure opportunities within the home that will enable residents to build upon the existing skills and knowledge that they possess.

If this sounds like a possible solution for your needs, we are here to help.
